The Lions Club Grafschaft Diepholz starts on October 7, 2024 with the sale of its popular Advent calendar. This year, buyers can look forward to prices with a total value of 15,000 euros. The offer ranges from shopping vouchers to valuable material prices such as a gold bar and travel vouchers.

Club President Mark Pürble and the members of the organization team, including Hubertus Wübbolt, are already happy to start sales and emphasize that the number of profits could be increased this year. "So the chance of winning is even better," explains Wübbolt. The calendars are sold at a price of five euros and offer the opportunity to take part in daily raffles.

versatile profits and support for the good cause

For the owners of the Advent calendar, between six and eight profits a day await in Advent. In addition to valuable vouchers, iPads, cash profits and even a helicopter tour can also be found under the prices. The profits come from spacious domestic sponsors who thus support the good cause. The proceeds from calendar sale will be donated to food expenditure for people in the region this year, such as the tables in Barnstorf, Sulingen, Wagenfeld and the food distribution in Lemförde.

The picture for the calendar, which shows the stupid in winter, comes from Jonathan Olbert, a recognized cultural award winner from the Diepholz district. To ensure that everything is fair, the winning numbers are drawn under the supervision of a notary. The calendars can be purchased from various sales outlets from October 7, including in the office of the Mediengruppe Kreiszeitung in Diepholz and in many regional shops.

The action is limited to a maximum of 5,000 advent calendars. Each calendar only has a chance of winning from December 2 in the Mediengruppe Kreiszeitung and on the website of the Lions Club.
