In a dramatic blow against crime, the Delmenhorster police identified five suspects to be responsible for a series of burglaries! After an alarming increase in property crimes, a special investigation group was launched in August, which quickly led the trail to five young men between the ages of 19 and 24. They are accused of having committed at least eight burglaries that caused a total damage of around 135,000 euros!

At the request of the Oldenburg public prosecutor's office, search resolutions were executed on Tuesday. The police searched six objects and made shocking discoveries: In addition to evidence for the burglaries, the officials found cash, an indoor plantation with 92 crop plants, 70 young plants, 400 grams of marijuana and even small amounts of cocaine! But that was not all - a suspect also had several forbidden knives and a shot gun in possession!The investigators suspect that the gang, which may consist of seven people, could also be responsible for further crimes. The hunt for the remaining members of the gang continue and the police stay tuned to prevent further crimes!
