3500 euros for Delmenhorster hospice service: new rooms for consolation and care

A radiant light in dark times! The Delmenhorst Hospice Service cheers a generous donation of 3,500 euros from the LZO Foundation. This financial support made it possible to let the premises on Mühlenstraße shine in new splendor. "Thanks to the donation, we were able to realize important projects," says the hospice service and emphasizes that the group room, the kitchen, the mourning room and the library were freshly painted.

But that's not all! The donation has also made it possible to purchase a modern shelf system for the library. This new system not only ensures a clear presentation of the books, but also creates an inviting atmosphere. Klaus Gardemann, board member of the Delmenhorst hospice service, emphasizes: "Especially in the library and in the mourning room, it is important to us to create an inviting environment in which people can feel good." Here it becomes clear how important such rooms are for mourners and their relatives.

growing need for support

The hospice service, which is dependent on donations, sees the support of the LZO Foundation as "welcome help for its continuously increasing number of hospice and mourning". The newly renovated premises not only offer a place of encounter, but also access to a variety of books that offer consolation and orientation in difficult times. "The donation shows how important the voluntary work of the hospice service is and helps the association to continue to create a loving and supportive environment for everyone who is looking for a place of care in challenging times," says the association.
