drama on the highway! On Saturday evening at 7:42 p.m. there was a violent accident between two cars on the BAB27 between Nordholz and Altenwalde. The 29-year-old driver from Cuxhaven, at the wheel of his VW Golf, underestimated the speed of the Mercedes driving in front of him and raced on the car almost unchecked. The impact was so strong that the Mercedes was thrown aside!

Fortunately, the two inmates of the VW Golf remained with minor injuries, but the 37-year-old driver of the Mercedes was seriously injured, if not life-threatening. Everyone involved was immediately taken to nearby hospitals, where they are further cared for and observed. A shock for all those affected!But the chaos was not over yet: both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the accident and had to be recovered by a towing service. The total damage is estimated at an incredible 16,000 euros! The main lane had to be temporarily blocked during the rescue, which significantly impaired the traffic situation. The highway became the scene of a dramatic incident that required many traffic controls!
