Nikolaus surprises children in Cuxhaven: a festive visit through the windows!

Helios-Klinik Cuxhaven, Cuxhaven, Deutschland - A magical evening illuminated the Helios Clinic Cuxhaven when Santa Claus hovered through the windows of the children's ward! On Thursday evening, this spectacular surprise caused radiant faces in twelve young patients who were able to look forward to pre -Christmas greetings. This magical event was made possible by the close cooperation between the Helios Clinic and the Cuxhaven fire department.

The planning of this extraordinary action began some time ago, inspired by similar events in other cities. This year the event even became a nationwide initiative in which around 60 professional fire brigades sent Nicholas to hospitals all over Germany! Frank Switala, the deputy head of the Cuxhaven professional fire brigade, was thrilled: "The glow in the children's eyes when the colleagues from the height rescue with Santa Claus appeared in front of the windows is not to be paid for!"
