Driving without a driver's license: Police caught two drivers in Cuxhaven!
Geestemünde, Deutschland - Cuxhaven (ots)
On Saturday, November 9th, 2024, the police in the Cuxhaven area were forced to act when they stopped two drivers without a valid driving license. At 9:30 a.m., a 38-year-old man from Cloppenburg fell into the focus of the law enforcement officers at the Geestemünde junction. The driver proudly presented his foreign driver's license - but what he didn't know: After half a year home in Germany, you have to have your driving license rewritten, otherwise it is no longer valid. The man had missed this important step!
But that wasn't all on this sensational day! At 5:20 p.m., the investigators found what they were looking for at the Wulsdorf junction. There, a 46-year-old driver from the Hambergen community also handed out a foreign driver's license, which has also been living in Germany for several years. He was also denied the switch to a German driver's license!
strict consequences for traffic offenders
The police stepped in immediately and initiated a procedure for driving without a driver's license against both men. They were also prohibited from driving from motor vehicles. A clear case of negligence that is not tolerated in road traffic! Requirements for strict control of private transport are loud - and the police are vigilant in search of further violations in the region!
