Saterland police station is moving: New location opened in Scharrel!
The Saterland police station has changed its location and is now located in the street to the brick factory 22 in Scharrel. This is an important change for the local officials and the residents of the community. So far, the station was housed in the town hall of the municipality of Saterland, but the municipality reported its own use on the premises. The head of the Cloppenburg/Vechta police inspection, Jörn Krekebaum, regretted regret about the move, but also emphasized the successful cooperation with the community in the past. "It is a shame that we are no longer connected to the town hall in Ramsloh. We have always worked together trustingly and successfully," said Krekebaum.
In the new premises, a police officer and two police officers will now design their new work environment. Police chief Uwe Tiedeken, police chief Christian Erdmann and police commissioner Sandra Lüker have already moved and were able to set up in the new office space. Erdmann was pleased with the modern equipment: "The equipment is up to date with the latest art," he added, pointing out that health aspects were also paid to the office equipment.
The new premises
The new building was built according to energetic standards, which is not only environmentally friendly, but can also reduce operating costs. In addition, the bright and generous rooms offer a pleasant working atmosphere, which is supported by the high ceilings. Another advantage of the new station is good accessibility for the citizens from all districts. "With the new seat of the office, you could also ensure good accessibility from all districts," continued Erdmann.
Jörn Krekebaum praised the support of the municipality of Saterland while moving and searching for a new office. "My thanks go to the municipality of Saterland for the years of close cooperation and support during the move," he emphasized. The construction company U. Schulte, who was responsible for the fact that the new premises are in a modern state, also received recognition.
The telephone accessibility of the police station remains unchanged by the number 04498/92377-0, which ensures the connection to the new office for citizens. The move of the Saterland police station is therefore not only a change of the location, but also offers the opportunity to continue the police service in modern and appealing premises - a step that is advantageous for both the officials and the citizens.
