New Copernicus-Gymnasium in Löningen: 21.6 million for the future!

A radiant day for education in Löningen! The new Copernicus high school has been inaugurated, and with an impressive investment volume of 21.6 million euros! District Administrator Johann Wimberg praised the impressive redesign: "The sun is shining over Löningen" - a sign of the positive future of this educational institution.

With a brave conversion, the old “mushroom building” was transformed into a modern learning paradise. 5.9 million euros flowed solely into this redesign, which now comes up with a "learning court", a "green farm" and a "moving farm". These new areas not only offer seating, but also climbing structures and natural areas that invite you to play and learn. "Everything is designed for children and youth and designed with great attention to detail," emphasized Wimberg.
