tragic drama at the Thülsfeld dam! On Sunday, November 10th, 2024, the desperate search for the missing Wolfgang Borrmann from Cloppenburg continued. The 45-year-old was reported by relatives on Friday after his vehicle was discovered not far from the dam on Saturday. Alarming information indicates a possible emergency situation, which made the police mobilize numerous emergency services.
Over 200 emergency services, including firefighters from Garrel, Molbergen, Peheim, Markhausen and Bösel, as well as members of the THW, the DLRG and rescue dog relays, came to the dam on Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m. With drones and search dogs, they tirelessly combed the terrain while a police dog searched the water from a DLRG boat. Despite the enormous efforts and the difficult area, the search had to be interrupted on Saturday evening due to the dark - however, hope for a positive turn remains unbroken!

Despite intensive searches, the rescue workers Wolfgang Borrmann have so far not been able to find.
