On October 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., the police noticed a 22-year-old man from Vechta, who drove the Gustav-Heinemann-Straße at an excessive pace and without valid insurance. The police later reported its risky driving style, and the vehicle was then checked in more detail. It turned out that the young man was not in possession of a driver's license. The police secured the license plates of the car and criminal proceedings were initiated against him.

In the early morning of October 19, 2024, around 00:35 a.m., a 29-year-old man from Damme was caught on Lohner Strasse, who also drove without a valid driving license. Another criminal proceedings were initiated and his onward journey was prohibited.
In a further check at 01:00 a.m., the police found a 37-year-old man from Holdorf who was traveling with a small force. With a breath alcohol value of 1.35 per thousand, his condition was anything but optimal. The driver did not have a driver's license nor was he a valid insurance license plate. A blood sample was also taken here, and criminal proceedings were followed.
