SSV shyly shines in the light: New LED floodlight facility enthusiastically!

In a pleasant step for the sports club SSV Scheuen from 1946 e.V., the old floodlight system was replaced by a modern LED system. This upgrade was significantly funded by the donor community of the Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn Wolfsburg, which provided a large part of the financial resources. The investment in new technology amounts to over 30,000 euros, and without the support of various sponsors, this important project would not have been feasible.

Christian Bartsch, the 1st chairman of the SSV, was enthusiastic about the new acquisition: "The new LED technology not only allows us to drastically reduce the energy costs, but also ensures a remarkably good view in the dark. This is a real progress for us and our athletes." This conversion marks a major development for the association, which will significantly improve the use of sports facilities.

regional support and personal impressions

The project progress was also observed by Dirk Suhrkamp, the director of the Celle region, who took the opportunity to get an idea of the implementation on site. Suhrkamp congratulated the representative of the SSV shyly on the successful project and emphasized that the conversion to a cost-saving LED technique for many clubs is an desirable goal: "What the SSV has achieved is not only useful, but also sets a sign for the future." This not only stabilizes the association in the present, but also well positioned for upcoming challenges.

In addition to the donor community, the city of Celle, the district of Celle and the State Sports Association also contributed to the implementation of the project. This cooperation shows how important support from various institutions is to promote local sport.

The decision to modernize the floodlight system was no accident. On the one hand, the ongoing operating costs for the old technology are significantly higher compared to the new LED system. On the other hand, the decision reflects a trend to implement more sustainable and resource -saving solutions that are both the financial scope of the clubs and are environmentally friendly.

Overall, the conversion is not only a technical improvement for the SSV, but also a commitment to promote sport in the region. This initiative is expected to help increase the attractiveness of the association and attract a higher number of members and athletes. At a time when many clubs with declines in the number of members are struggling, this project represents a promising investment in the sports activities of the community.
