Celler offspring kicks up: unforgettable training camp in Verden!

The C-Juniors of TuS Celle FC recently completed an exciting training camp in Verden. From October 3 to 6, 2024, the talented young players spent an inspiring time with their coaches in the DJH youth hostel. The training camp took place on an excellent sports facility, which offers both art and natural lawn places. A crowdfunding campaign that was carried out in cooperation with the Stadtwerke Celle could be collected for this event.

With great anticipation, the group started their journey on Thursday. The journey took place either by train or a 9-seater, which already sprayed a touch of adventure. After the room in the youth hostel was moving into the pitch. The next morning the day started with a balanced breakfast, followed by two intensive training sessions. The weather showed its best side and the good mood of the participants was obvious. During the leisure breaks, many kickers ventured into the nearby indoor pool to refresh themselves.

Special encounters and training sessions

A highlight of the training camp was the visit of Frank Neubarth, a former Bundesliga professional and coach of FC Verden 04, who stopped by for an evening. The exchange of memories from his career aroused the interests of the players who, with questions about his career and his experience in football. The young footballers will surely remember this special moment for a long time.

The third day was completely dedicated to football technology. Targeted exercises were carried out to prepare the players for the different play styles of their future opponents. The training focused on improving physical fitness and technical skills. The intensive care by the trainers created a positive atmosphere that all motivated and spurred on.

on the last day, despite the exhaustion after the strenuous units, the mood was exuberant. Trainer Simon Hopf praised the good organization of the stay: "In the end, everything was right here. The accommodation and meals, the training conditions and the arrival and departure were excellent, and even the weather played along." His colleague, assistant coach Chris Butterfield, added: "The boys pulled along well and deserved our respect for the hard work."

The U14 of the TuS Celle FC would like to thank the youth hostel in Verden, at the car dealership Speckhahn Celle for the provision of the association bus and all helpers who contributed to the success of this training camp. This intensive exchange and joint training not only promoted the skills of the individual, but also strengthened the team spirit.
