The Wesermarsch footballers caused a sensation in the district league! The SG Grossenmeer/Bardenfleth celebrated an impressive 4: 1 victory against SG Ammerland-West and thus secured second place in the table. The SV Brake also did not allow himself to be ragged and triumphed 2-1 over SV Friedrichsfehn. These victories are a real boost for the teams who are now preparing for the upcoming challenges!

In a gripping match on slippery lawn, the SG Grossenmeer started furiously: Maren Rogge scored the first goal in the 6th minute, followed by Merle Janssen, who added in the 10th minute. Despite an interim goal by Kim Schulte (25th), the game dominated the game. Meta Meiners increased to 3: 1 in the 47th minute before Rogge set the final point in the 86th minute. A real football dream for the SG!

SV Brake shines with a strong appearance

SV Brake also showed its class! After a balanced first round, in which the chances were distributed on both sides, the gates broke like a waterfall after half -time: Élice Arndt scored a dream goal for 1-0 in the 63rd minute, followed by Amelie Fehner, who only scored the 2-0 two minutes later. Despite a late goal by Melina Jacqueline Thoben (86th), Brake defended with great will and secured the deserved victory. Coach Adrian Kositz was enthusiastic about the implementation of the game tactic by his team!

In the district league, the TSV Abbehausen is faced with a tricky away task against SV Timono II.
