Westerstede, Deutschland - Westerstede -The Evangelical Adult Education Lower Saxony withdraws! A shock for adult education in Ammerland! From the new year, the financing of the Evangelical Education Agency Ammerland (EBA) will be completely discontinued. This has a massive impact on vocational training in the region. Friedemann Hönsch, Managing Director of the EBA, comments: "We would have liked another development, but now look hopefully." But the restructuring does not mean the end of the courses! In future, daycare lines can qualify in the Rastede education house, while wound experts are trained at the EEB in Oldenburg. The popular day care courses (KVHS) takes over the popular day care courses. Hönsch assures: "In the other areas, not much will change for the course participants." Winfried Krüger, head of the KVHS, agrees: "There will be no big gap."

EBA har erbjudit cirka 350 kurser per år hittills, men i framtiden kommer det bara att finnas 270. Platsen i Westertede på Pastorenpadd kommer emellertid inte längre att vara tillgänglig av ekonomiska skäl från 2025. EEB Nedre Sachsen har avbrutit främjandet av utbildningsinstitutionen på grund av fallande kyrkans skatteintäkter. Ulrike Koertge explains that the funds of the Ministry of Science and Culture have not increased for 20 years. The savings affect not only Ammerland, but also other regions such as Verden and Hildesheim.

Friedemann Hönsch remains optimistic: "We encouraged the parishes to continue to offer their courses." Some courses are continued on a voluntary basis, and the church district remains the EEB cooperation partner. För Hönsch själv betyder detta en ny utmaning: i framtiden kommer han att vara ansvarig för utbildningsområdet i kyrkans distrikt och kommer att fortsätta sitt PR -arbete vid sätet i kyrkans distrikt i Bad Zwischenahn.
