Dramatic animal rescue: Fire brigade frees horse from water moat!

Rastede, Deutschland - drama in Rastede! A horse plunges into a freshly coated water ditch, and the owner panic! But the fire brigade is quickly on hand, and after an exciting use there is a happy ending for the two!

The shocked horse owner immediately alerted the fire brigade when her animal fell into the ditch due to unknown circumstances. When the Ipwege-Wahnbek volunteer fire brigade arrived, the horse was already sunk to the back in the water. The animal rescue from Südbeke and the rescue vehicle of the Ammerland district fire brigade was requested immediately. The horse was calmed down by the emergency services and its owner on site, while the blue lights were switched off and the site was locked up.

A veterinarian was brought in to examine and sedate the horse. Thanks to their quick and professional help, the firefighters were finally able to pull the animal out of the ditch. The assignment was over after about an hour, and both horse and rider got away with a horror. The happy horse was brought back to his stable with a trailer. A total of 27 firefighters were on duty to cope with this dramatic scenario!
