Drama on Lake Starnberg: Divers in need - rescue at the last second!
A quiet Sunday at Lake Starnberg turned into a dramatic emergency! On November 17, two divers on the steep wall in Allmannshausen were in great danger. The alarm bells rang, and the Wasserwacht Ammerland was immediately alerted to help the crashed divers.
But fate had a happy ending! By chance, divers of the Dachau water guard were nearby, who were currently doing an exercise. Without hesitation, they hurried to help the divers in need, they quickly brought them to the surface and initiated the first supply. A true heroic deed that prevented the worst!
rescue workers in large -scale use
The situation quickly escalated when the alarmed forces of the Wasserwacht Ammerland arrived and took over the first aid. Support came from the Starnberg police, two ambulances, an emergency doctor and even a rescue helicopter from Murnau. The head of the emergency services coordinated the measures on site, while the injured divers were transported to the pressure chamber of the Murnau Clinic as quickly as possible.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear. Was it a technical failure, a health emergency or just bad luck? The investigation is in full swing! Michael Döhla, train driver of the Wasserwacht Ammerland, emphasized the quick and effective work of the water rescue on Lake Starnberg, which is also ready to save lives outside the wax season. An impressive example of the tireless operational readiness of the rescue workers!
