A memorable day for Bio-Plus+: On October 25, 2024, the young gardening cooperation group in Berlin shone, where she cleared three prestigious awards at the Taspo Awards!

The successes of Bio-Plus+ are impressive: third place in the “Concept vegetable herbal fruit” category, another third place in the “Cooperation of the Year” category and winning the award for “environment and sustainability” are a strong sign for the group. Managing Director Lars Thorwarth and the shareholders of the four horticultural companies involved-including the Bio-Obstbaumschule Cordes and the Stahl tree nursery in Holstein as well as the Trade Bach Schools Reiners and Lüers from Ammerland-were personally on site to accept the honors.

Bio-Plus+ stands out through his commitment to sustainability. All production steps take place in Germany, from the sowing process to the sale of the finished products. With an EU organic certificate, the group guarantees that no chemical pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers are used. Instead, resistant varieties and plant thickness are used to promote the health of the plants.

The marketed trees come with QR codes that offer consumers access to valuable information, such as instructions for fruit tree cuts or recipes. This initiative is particularly important because there is a lack of well -trained staff in horticulture. With these measures, Bio-Plus+ will be ready for free trade in autumn 2025 and inspire garden lovers!
