Ammerland in election stress: Communities are fighting for election workers for February 23!

Ammerland, Deutschland - The clock ticks! On February 23, the early Bundestag election is pending in the Ammerland and the municipalities are in turmoil! The recruitment of election helpers becomes the greatest challenge, because time is pushing and preparations have to get going as soon as possible. SPD and CDU have agreed on this appointment, but many parties have not yet officially elected their candidates. The campaign in winter becomes a real test!

Ammerland -The city of Oldenburg takes over the district election management for constituency 27 Oldenburg-Rammerland. Ralf Denker, Head of Department, emphasizes the need for a cooperation meeting with the municipalities belonging to the district in order to optimally coordinate the processes. "The preparation time is extremely short and we have to act quickly!" he says. Mayor Matthias Huber from Apen sees the challenge: "We have already mastered many requirements, we can get that!" The personal address of the election workers is the key to success, says Huber.

The municipalities in the race against the time

Heinz de Boer, first municipal council in Bad Zwischenahn, began preparations after the announcement of the new elections. "We are glad that the appointment is now clear, but the organization will be a real challenge!" The pressure is also high in Edewecht: Nico Pannemann, head of department, warns of the enormous organizational effort and the need to win enough volunteers. "However, we are confident that we can fill the polling stations!"

It gets particularly tricky in Rastede: Press spokesman Ralf Kobbe emphasizes that around 200 election workers are urgently needed. "Interested citizens should get in touch quickly!" In Westerstede, the parties have to quickly choose their candidates in order to be able to print the election documents in good time. Hilke Hinrichs, representative of the mayor, is optimistic: "We have a permanent tribe of election helpers, that will work!"

and Wiefelstede also faces a mammoth task: Mayor Jörg Pieper speaks of the preparation for 20 polling stations and over 160 election workers. "We have to organize everything as soon as possible, but we are ready to accept this challenge!" The tension increases and the communities in Ammerland are ready to make the choice a success!
