New life in the BUND-Garten: Become part of the natural community!

Nienburg. In an exciting call to the nature closeness, the federal government is looking for new members for its show and teaching garden! This garden has been a real paradise for nature lovers for 32 years and offers a platform for ecological gardeners. Now the advertising drum is stirred to win fresh faces that are ready to distribute wildflowers, harvest vegetables and to experience the beauty of nature together with like -minded people.

Claudia Reemtsema, the committed director of the Garten-AG, explains: "We are looking for people who want to experience and shape nature with us." The garden, which is mainly done by volunteer work, is a place of learning and creating joint work. Not only are harvested here, but also the domestic flora and fauna is encouraged. "We show how diverse and attractive the garden design with local plants can be," continued Reemtsema.

Invitation to the autumn plaster

On Saturday, November 9, from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., the garden will open its doors again. This time the traditional autumn plaster meeting is on the program, in which the garden furniture is located and the first preparations for the coming year are made. "We invite everyone interested to talk to us and to develop new ideas for garden design," emphasizes Reemtsema.

Come by, enjoy coffee, tea and cake and become part of this living community! The federal show and teaching garden is located on the Ziegelkampstraße/corner of Meerbachbrücke.
