New opening in Schweinfurt: Eiscafé da Claudio enchanted with Italian flair!

Am Georg-Wichtermann-Platz in Schweinfurt has opened the newly designed Café da Claudio. This concept combines ice cream parlor, bar and restaurant and offers a unique gastronomic experience. The operators Denis Scremin and Claudio Artusi, who already have 28 ice cream parlors in Germany, have invested in the conversion of the former Deichmann shoe business. The café's opening times are from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Café da Claudio relies on a feel -good atmosphere that is inspired by Italian traditions. In the interior, 42 tables invite you to a visit, and additional seating on Wichtermann-Platz will also be provided in summer. Despite the cold season, an ice production takes place every day. While fewer types of ice are offered in winter, there are special creations for each city, such as the Schweinfurt ice cream with vanilla, pistachio and crème brûlée. The ice cream manufacturers also offer vegan ice cream and the products used come directly from Italy.

DENIS Scremin, half Brazilian and half Italian, has been living in Germany for 14 years and now feels comfortable in Schweinfurt, even if the search for accommodation brought about challenges. Before that, he operated a similar ice cream parlor in Kaufbeuren with Claudio Artusi and will have to make friends with the Franconian dialect because he is familiar with the dialect there.

The Eiscafé Benito, which is located directly after the Kunsthalle Schweinfurt, is also known in the region. According to Restaurant Guru , the ice cream parlor offers a price range of 10 to 24 euros per person and has received a Google rating of 4.4 from its guests. The atmosphere in this café is described as pleasant and the staff receives positive reviews throughout. The opening times are Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. However, there is no delivery, but it is possible to take food with us and the café is barrier -free.
