A new voice for Cologne rises from Bergisch Gladbach: Mike Wunderlich, former professional footballer and current head coach of the Middle Rhine League SV Bergisch Gladbach 09, the face of the Gaffel campaign "Voice for Cologne".

Wunderlich is no stranger to the region. His path began in youth at Viktoria Cologne and led him over 1. FC Köln and Bayer 04 Leverkusen to senior football, where he finally played for the Red-Weiß Essen and FSV Frankfurt, where he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga. After a short intermezzo at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, he returned to Viktoria Cologne in 2023 before taking on the role of head coach at SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 in the 2023/24 season. He played over 630 games in his active career.
