Eggenfelden expects big appearance: Handels Messiah in November!

The Visinochor Eggenfelden is preparing for an exciting time: After months of rehearsals, the large oratorio "Messiah" by Georg Friedrich Handel is on the program. The members of the choir have been practicing since January and are now in the last phase of preparation.

The first two performances of the "concert trilogy" take place on November 17th at 4 p.m. in the parish church of Eggenfelden and on November 24th in Memmingen. Richard Göldner, the chairman of the choir, explains: "We will design the first two concerts together with the St. Josef Memmingen church choir. This will make over 70 singers. This collaboration will allow us to perform this great work several times."

The highlight of the series of events is the third concert, which will take place on November 30 at the opening of the As Sambasilica in Aldersbach. Göldner adds that the viscotic nose will sing alone during this appearance, which is a special pleasure for the singers. Therefore, this concert is considered something very special by everyone involved.

In order to meet a high musical level, the renowned orchestra "La Banda" from Augsburg could be won, which specializes in baroque music and can embody the original sound. Richard Göldner emphasizes that the financial support of VR-Bank Rottal-Inn is essential for the implementation of these large-scale concerts. Such large performances require considerable financial effort, and without this help it would hardly be possible to implement the project so successfully.

The preparations are already in full swing, and the focus is initially on the home game in Eggenfelden.
