This has shown a survey in which 64 percent of citizens pleaded for measures to reduce the often experienced stress in the high season. Nevertheless, 39 percent of the participants proudly express their own region and appreciate the leisure opportunities that tourism brings. These shared views illustrate that both the needs of the locals and guests have to be brought into focus in the future in order to enable harmonious coexistence and to promote acceptance for tourism.
