Stralsund shows art variety: opening of the 1st art showcase!

Kulturkirche St. Jakobi, 18439 Stralsund, Deutschland - An exciting art event is imminent! From November 14th to December 12th, the Kulturkirche St. Jakobi in Stralsund becomes the scene of the first group exhibition "1st Stralsunder art showcase". Here, 15 talented artists from the Hanseatic city present their impressive works that reflect the creativity and diversity of the local art scene.

The official opening takes place on November 13th at 5:30 p.m., and the audience has the opportunity to admire the works of art from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Office for Culture, World Heritage and Media of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund, the team of the Kulturkirche St. Jakobi and the Kunstverein Stralsund e.V. a truly communal project that enlivens the art scene!

The artists in the spotlight

The exhibition shows works by renowned artists such as Regina B. Apitz, Jens Eggebrecht and Petra Florath, to name just a few. This platform not only offers the artists the opportunity to present their works, but also to the public -interested public an insight into the creative variety of Stralsund. The call to participate in this group exhibition was started in the summer of 2024 and sparked great interest.
