St. Martinsfest and Christmas market: New market closures announced!

Neuer Markt, 12345 Ort, Deutschland - An exciting event is imminent! On November 11th, the new market in Stralsund will be closed to St. Martinsfest from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A festive move and the traditional Martin game are on the program and the anticipation is noticeable! But that is only the beginning, because from November 14th at 6:00 a.m. the space will be closed again for the construction of the Christmas market. This festive block remains until December 23 and promises a magical atmosphere in the city.

Important information for visitors

The city administration asks all citizens and visitors to observe the signage around the new market. Preparations for the Christmas season are in full swing, and the anticipation for the festive atmosphere can be felt everywhere. In the meantime, the weekly market will be moved to an area of the Schützenbasttion parking lot, the former bus station, from 15 November 20.

The dealers are ready to offer their goods and expect visitors as usual on Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A highlight: On December 24th, the weekly market will be open until 12:00 p.m. before it will take place on the new market again from December 24, 2024.
