New net market in Stralsund: Customer flows exceed expectations!

In Stralsund, a new net market opened on December 10th, which is located on the ground floor of a historic building, where the first German department store "Alt Wertheim" used to be located. In its opening week, the new market already records 8,500 visitors, which is a significant success compared to other branches that attract an average of 3,500 customers per week.

The sales area of ​​the net market amounts to 889 square meters, and the range includes in particular a high demand for organic products. The employees observe a lot of walk -in, especially at lunchtime, and the most popular articles are snacks, drinks, baked goods and cheese. Due to the high demand, the cheese staircase is enlarged. A presentation of a historical photo of the old department store is also planned in the entrance area of ​​the market.

The new net in Stralsund represents the 21st branch of Netto in Vorpommern-Rügen. Another branch in Süderholz was opened at the same time.
