The partner Eva-Maria Kröger, Sandro Smolka, becomes the new group manager of the left in Rostock. He will start his job in the town hall in mid -December and return from a post in the Ministry of Justice in Schwerin. Left-wing parliamentary group leader Christian Albrecht emphasizes that the personal connection does not play a role, but this is questioned by some political competitors. The step also pays off financially: Smolka is classified in pay group 13, which will give him a gross salary of around 5,400 euros.

Another family support becomes visible to Lichtenhagen when the bike path from Warnemünde. The expansion of the shadow -resistant 2.2 kilometer long bike path is planned to a navigable bike fast path in both directions. The outdated lighting is replaced by a modernity to give the many cyclists a safe feeling. A resident, Gabriela Busch, describes her concerns about the dark route: "It is a bit scary, so without light." This measure is particularly important because complaints about ghost drivers have repeatedly accumulated on the bike path in recent years.

The financing of the project is borne by 75 percent by the federal government. The total costs are currently still unknown, so that the city administration will have to deal with the further procedure in the next few weeks.

From Thursday, October 10th, the feeder will be closed to the A20 in Warnemünde. This is done in the context of renovation work, which should continue until the end of November. Commuters and residents have to adjust to adapted routes. During the closure, diversions are set up, which lead either via the Rostock-Südstadt motorway exit or from Kritzmow via Clausdorf to the Bad Doberan junction.

In addition, the departure from the A20 from the direction of Szczecin to the B103 is also blocked. Road users have to expect delays during this time, since traffic is also diverted. The city administration asks all those affected to inform themselves in good time about the new traffic tours in order to avoid difficulties in everyday life.
