B103 between Rostock and Kritzmow: Construction site traffic ensures traffic jams!
The traffic situation around Rostock has improved! After months of renovation work, the motorway feeder B103 between the A20 and Kritzmow is now released for traffic. According to the NDR , drivers can now go back to the B103 in the direction of Rostock. The work included the renewal of the lanes and are now complete, but for the time being, a speed limit of 60 km/h applies, since the protective planks are still missing.
New construction work is on
While these positive messages enjoy the drivers, you will soon have to prepare for further restrictions. As the Nordkurier , preparatory work begins on Monday, July 29 for the next section of the B103. The lane ceiling and the medium strip crossings between the A20 and the Kritzmow junction are renewed. During this work, only one lane will be available in each direction, which could significantly impair traffic.
In addition, the departure is blocked from the A20 to the B103 from the direction of Szczecin. This measure is required for security reasons and was met in coordination with Autobahn GmbH of the federal government. Drivers have to be diverted via the Bad Doberan junction, where a traffic light system is installed to optimize the flow of traffic.
