Badow church shines in new splendor after renovation!

The Badow church has experienced an impressive transformation in the past few months! Under the skilful brush of painter Ulf Fischer, the interior of the church now shines in an elegant creamy light gray. What was once only a simple space is now a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Fischer, who has been a master painter since 1997, worked with tireless efforts and a clear focus on quality to restore the old splendor of the church.

The renovation, which cost 382,000 euros, began last year and will continue for the windows in the coming year with another 50,000 euros. "There are always special orders to work in a church," says Fischer. He accepted the challenge with calm and ambition and carried out all the work, from cleaning to painting. The members of the parish are enthusiastic about the result and can hardly wait to celebrate the first service after the renovation on November 17th.

A declaration of love in Stein

The Badower Church, which was built in 1847, is not only a place of faith, but also a monument of love. The landlord of Döring had the chapel built to memorize his late wife Friederike. The restoration combined numerous supporters, including the Dorfkirchen Association in Need and the German Foundation for Monument Protection, which together provided almost 500,000 euros. These funds flowed into the roof renovation and the comprehensive interior renovation.

The Badow church will not only be a place of inspiration for the community, but also for future generations. Ulf Fischer and his team have achieved the goal of bringing the original coloring back to life in the 19th century. The anticipation for the first service is noticeable, and the parish can look proud of its newly shining church!
