An interactive event

However, Waren is about a groundbreaking topic: how we can reconcile water and forest.

Dominique Cîrstea, the press spokeswoman for the DOKART-FUTUNGTSTIFFS, shared: In the Müritzum, a real hotspot for nature interest, the possibilities that man has to influence the environment sustainably. "What we know as a forest is nothing more than a jungle fantasy," explains Cîrstea. The reality is more complex - old tipping forests in Lausitz or pioneer forests on former military training areas.

Experts pack out

After the film there is a lively panel discussion with experts, including Arne Strasen, city forester in Waren, and renowned experts such as Helen Andrews from the State Forest Stalt MV and landscape ecologist Heinrich Krebber. Uwe Rada, editor of the taz, moderates the event.
