Heino inspires Neubrandenburg: A musical festival for peace!

Neubrandenburg, Deutschland - Heino, the unforgettable star, surprised his fans with an exciting announcement! Originally planned for November 15th in the Neubrandenburg concert church, his appearance was postponed to February. But that's not a big deal for the legendary singer! "We only pushed the performance back," explains Heino. With 25 appointments on his tour, a change is always possible, and the logistical planning is in the foreground.

The 85-year-old has a special connection to Neubrandenburg. "I was here in 2003, but I didn't have time to get to know the city," recalls Heino. This time he wants to take the opportunity to explore the city. His appearance in the concert church is no coincidence: "My musician colleague Peter Orloff told me about this great location, and I just had to come." The anticipation for the sacred songs he will present is noticeable. "I will sing works by Schubert, Bach, Mozart and Brahms - songs that hardly anyone hears today," says Heino proudly.

a musical comeback

Although he won't sing well -known songs like "Blue The Enzian", he brings classic folk songs like "Am Brunnen in front of the gate". "If one day I'm no longer there, nobody will sing these songs anymore," warns Heino. At almost 86, he sees it as a return to his roots, not as musical reinvention. "I always sang old folk songs, and I am surprised that young people also sang along."

his tour title "Peace on Eternity" is a message in stormy times. "I want to encourage people to stand up for peace," he explains. During his appearance, he is accompanied by actress Barbara Wussow and organist Franz Lambert. "Franz is very important because we don't have a big orchestra in the church. Barbara will perform classic poems, and that will be something very special for the audience," enthuses Heino. Whether it will be his last appearance in Neubrandenburg is not in his hand, but he hopes to return to many other opportunities. "I am a repeat offender and like to come back!"
