A 35-year-old man was the victim of a brazen theft when he deposited his purchases in the trunk of his vehicle and completed the car for further errands. But what happened then left him stunned!

After about 30 minutes the man returned and wanted to open his car with the remote control-but nothing happened! He tried desperately again until he could finally open the door. But the horror never ended: his car did not start and did not respond to any entries. To make matters worse, he discovered that his fully packed shopping bag, worth over 120 euros, had disappeared!

The police, which was quickly on hand, suspect that the perpetrators intercept the radio signal of the remote control. "This enabled them to steal the goods without leaving the car," said a police spokeswoman. The man had to have his vehicle towed in order to have it ready to go again in the workshop. The technical damage was enormous, because by catching the signal, the connection between the key and the car was interrupted.
