Neubrandenburg, Deutschland - The ice skating season 2024/2025 in the Neubrandenburg ice rink has reached a new visitor record. In the period from November 26th to January 6th, a total of 21,358 ice skaters were welcomed, which makes the 16th season of Ice4fun a great success. The average age of the visitors was around 500 a day, which underlines the high demand. Previously, the visitor record in the 2019/2020 season was recorded with 20,784 guests, such as Nordkurier reported.

The ice skating hall had to be closed on New Year's Day and also on January 5 for security reasons. Record visitors were counted on December 27 with 847 ice skaters, followed by 806 visitors on December 7th. In the past three years, no ice skating seasons have been able to take place due to Corona and the energy crisis, so that the Neubrandenburg Stadtwerke are very satisfied with the course of the season.

The ice skating for seniors was also well received, with 30 to 40 participants per appointment.
