Million boost for dilapidated removal on the Baltic Sea: Now it's getting serious!

Prerow, Deutschland - The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is in the upswing! In a solemn ceremony, the newly built pier in Prerow was opened, which is the longest of its kind on the Baltic Sea with an impressive 720 meters. The construction project, which lasted longer than planned, was celebrated with a spectacular light show and the presence of Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig. The new island harbor, which was inaugurated together with the pier, offers 33 berths for small boats and an entrance for a 28 -meter -long sea rescue cruiser. As NDR reported, the opening for the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow is a milestone that is supposed to bring new flair and additional visitors to the place.

But that's not all! The state government has plans to modernize the pier along the entire Baltic Sea coast. As the maritime infrastructure of the region and should only be of temporary importance, since the maximum laying times for leisure ships are limited to 24 hours.
