Raser in Altentreptow: 200 km/h on the B96 - now he is threatened with it!

A speeder causes excitement on the country road! On Monday, a 30-year-old man was pulled out of circulation from the special traffic monitoring in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The chase began on the former B96 between Neddemin and Altentreptow, where the speed offender was traveling with an incredible 200 kilometers per hour - this is almost twice as quickly as allowed! And that's not all: despite a locking line, he overtook his risky driving behavior even more dangerous.

The police are now fed up with such racers! The man has to adjust to a fine of around 2,600 euros and could be without a driver's license for five months. But that is not the end of his worries: he is also held responsible for intentional action. Despite the severity of his offenses, he was allowed to keep his driver's license for the time being after the public prosecutor's office was consulted. Happiness for him, but the question remains: How many dangerous drivers are there still on our streets?

The hunt for the racer

The officials of traffic monitoring have impressively demonstrated that they are ready to act against racers. With a video car, they pursued the frenzied driver and documented his dangerous behavior. Such missions are necessary to ensure security on the streets and to show that there are consequences for ruthless driving. The police will continue to remain vigilant and do not tolerate such speed violations!
