Application deadline for our village has extended the future by the end of the year!

Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, Deutschland - The deadline for the competition "Our village has a future" was extended in the Mecklenburg Lake District district until December 31, 2024! Municipalities who are interested in the competition have another chance window to submit their application. The registration was originally supposed to end at the end of September, but the deadline has already been extended until the end of October. Now there is an additional extension of the deadline that was decided on the suggestion of the Committee on Economics, Construction and District Development of the District Day.

The decision to extend the deadline by the end of the year was made in close coordination with the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania agricultural Ministry. This means that even more communities have the opportunity to register for the competition. The tension increases, because in April 2025 a competition commission will visit the registered villages to evaluate them. The community, which is best cut, will then have the honor to compete in the state competition.
