Rescue helicopter comes to Pampow: Minister decides!

After an exciting race for the best location for the fourth rescue helicopter in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the decision was made: Pampow, near Schwerin, will be the new location! But the minister decided: Pampow is the winner! "After intensive weighing up the advantages and disadvantages of the two locations, we consider the Pampow location to be more suitable," said Drese. The decision is based on a positive assessment by the state aviation authority and the guarantee that all regions in Westmecklenburg can be supplied quickly and efficiently with emergency doctor aid. This is particularly important to comply with the strict aid periods.
