Small heroes celebrate 10 years of Anklam children's fire brigade!
In the charming city of Anklam, a very special anniversary was celebrated this week: the children's fire brigade, also known as "the little heroes", celebrated its tenth anniversary. Not only the young firefighters from Anklam came together for this happy event, but also small comrades from the surrounding communities of Ducherow, Klein Bünzow, Lassan and Zinnowitz. This shows the important role that the children's fire brigade plays in the Region and how much the community holds together.
The Anklam children's fire brigade was launched a decade ago with just 15 active people aged six to ten years ago. Their initial equipment was modest-the children wore simple red T-shirts and had little more equipment. "It was a long way to get the necessary equipment such as helmets and uniforms," said Marlies Stordt, the chair of the association, during the celebrations. In the meantime, only eleven children are still active in the fire brigade, but this demonstrates the connection and use of the children. This group knows how to learn important skills and at the same time develop a strong sense of community.
appreciation of the supervisors
Beatrix Wittmann-Stifft, the deputy mayor of Anklam, took the opportunity to thank the child fire brigade's supervisors for their valuable work. She emphasized that they not only manage to impart essential skills to the children in dealing with fire and rescue technology, but also to promote important social skills. Such experiences are of enormous importance for the development of children and shape them into self -confident, responsible members of society.
As part of the celebration, all small fire brigade mints received vouchers for the Hanseatic resort in Anklam as an appreciation for their commitment and their commitment. Such recognitions help to maintain the enthusiasm of the children for fire work and to support them in their development.
The anniversary was not only a review of successful cooperation and the development of the fire brigade, but also a look into the future. The idea behind the foundation of the children's fire brigade was to introduce children to responsible tasks at an early stage and at the same time introduce them to a career path that is strongly valued in society.
The numbers show it clearly: there is a need for such initiatives - not only in Anklam, but in many communities. Events like this reaffirm the need to teach children valuable skills and prepare them for a later life in the community. The joy and cohesion that the children's fire brigade exudes are impressive and motivating.
