Skipping in the Lubmin intermediate camp: No danger to the population!

Lubmin. A dramatic incident occurred in the intermediate warehouse: When working with weak to medium-wheel wheel, there was one Skip! The barrel was slightly damaged, but the Schwerin Ministry of the Environment calms down: nothing has left the content. The shock is deep, because this incident took place on October 24th!

The EWN waste disposal plant for Nuclear Anlagen GmbH was quickly on hand and informed the public on October 25th. But that wasn't all! On October 30, they officially reported the incident to the supervisory authority - and the period of five working days within the legally required period. Fortunately, there were no radiological or other effects on the environment. The population was never in danger!

The north intermediate camp is located in the municipality of Rubenow, which belongs to the Lubmin office. Not only weak and medium-radioactive waste, but also transport containers for highly radioactive materials are stored here. A place that requires the highest security standards and where every incident causes excitement!
