Telenotians start new use on the Mecklenburg Lake District!
Mecklenburgische Seenplatte, Deutschland - The future of emergency medicine is now! Telenotians who already work successfully in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district are expanding their area of application and from now on also supporting the emergency paramedics on the picturesque Mecklenburg Lake District. This innovative measure could save lives!
How does it work? The telenoticians are available to the ambulance crews via a radio connection if an emergency doctor is not yet on site. You can analyze important health data such as blood pressure, EKG and oxygen saturation. Even photos and videos of the patient can be transferred so that the telenotians can make a precise assessment of the Situation. This technology brings medical expertise directly!
A proven system is expanded
The system has proven itself in Vorpommern-Greifswald since the first test runs in 2017 and is now also being tested on the lake plate. Initially, only a few emergency vehicles are equipped with modern technology, but the entire fleet will follow in positive results. The University Medical Center Greifswald provides the medical staff for the telenotic center and cooperates as part of the “Temicare” project with renowned facilities in Stettin, Krakow and Gdansk.
This groundbreaking development in emergency medicine not only promises faster reactions, but also better patient care in critical moments. The telenoticians are ready to put their expertise into the missions and thus optimize the rescue chain!
