Grimmen, Deutschland - in Grimmen, a musical spectacle of the extra class! On Saturday, eleven orchestras appear at the eagerly awaited regional orchestra competition. This competition, which takes place every four years, is not only a performance comparison, but also a stage for talents that want to qualify for nationwide competition next year. Grimmen is not only the venue, but also the birthplace of the first state competition in 1991 - a tradition that lives on!

The event takes place in two impressive locations: the Grimmen high school and the cultural center "Treffpunkt Europe". Here the audience can experience the performances of the orchestras up close. The State Music Council, which has taken over the organization, emphasizes that the competition also promotes the idea of encounter. In addition to the strict competition rules, there is also an orchestra meeting in which lay ensembles have the opportunity to present their services and receive valuable feedback from an expert jury. This jury consists of respected orchestral conductors and lecturers who support the participants with advice and action.

In addition, two orchestras take part in the state encounter "Youth Jazzt", which serves as a preliminary decision for the "Federal Meeting Youth Jazz for Jazz Orchestra" in the coming year. The preliminary players are public and offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the musical talents free of charge. The final concert in the evening in the cultural center promises to become an unforgettable experience, supported by the Ministry of Culture and the NDR cultural funding.
