Greifswald mourns: Feekost shop Fisch 13 closes its doors!

A popular highlight in downtown Greifswald disappears! The Fisch 13 delicatessen, known for its delicious fish rolls and sea delicacies, will close. On the front of the 62 square meter shop, a sign is already emblazoned that indicates the re -letting of the commercial property. The closure will be a bitter loss for many locals and tourists.

Fisch 13 was a real paradise for lovers of seafood. Customers raved about the unique creations, especially the plum cutting - a fish roll with matjes, plum jam and apple. Managing Director Robert Sommerfeld said that the rental agreement expires at the end of March and the reasons for the closure were "private nature". Despite the popularity of the shop, which was also well attended in winter, the decision was made in favor of the family: "My wife is self -employed. We have two children. That is just too much," says Sommerfeld.

Prominent customers and unforgettable moments

The shop even attracted the former Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU), who bit in 2015 in a plum pruning and described it as "really tasty". Other prominent guests were always seen in the fish 13. The operators are ready to hand over the shop earlier and hope that someone can take over the successful concept. Customers still have the opportunity to redeem their vouchers before the Fisch 13 chapter ends.

The delicatessen is located in the pedestrian zone, directly in the Schuhhagen. The closure will not only change the city's culinary landscape, but will also leave the memories of unforgettable taste experiences. What will become of this popular place?
