Fight against poverty: Social inequality in Germany continues to grow!
Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - Austria faces a financial challenge: The Pommel Conference network calls for a social climate monus to protect low-income households from the burdens of CO2 prices. "We need a budget that does not undressed the economy with high cuts in 2025 and does not enlarge the gap between the poor and the rich," said social expert Martin Schenk. According to the analysis, the climate monus is considered a decisive measure to cushion the effects of CO2 taxation on poorer households and at the same time to secure economic stability, such as FAZ noted.
Nevertheless, there are also signs of challenging social dynamics: the proportion of households with an income below the poverty risk wave has dropped, but the factor of migration remains not unmentioned. The influx of refugees has influenced the statistics since 2015, which resulted in a stronger fluctuation in poorer households. Despite these challenges, the study sees a phase of inclusive growth, which is also shaped by integration and reaction to the consequences of pandemic.
