Innsbruck Minister make decision: trip to Syria due to terrorist alarm!
Austria's Interior Minister Gerhard Karner and his German counterpart Nancy Faeser broke off their planned trip to Syria. According to Kosmo , concrete warnings of a terrorist threat are the reason for this decision. The delegation was originally supposed to travel to Damascus to deal with security issues and the return of Syrian refugees, but the risk was classified as unpaintable.
Karner and Faeser are currently in Amman, Jordan, where they made the decision. The talks in Syria should take place under the strictest security precautions and not be announced in advance.
