drama on the highway! In the early morning hours of November 2, 2024, at 4:27 a.m., there was a spectacular game accident at the Diedenbergen junction on the A66 towards Frankfurt. A 58-year-old driver of a Ford Transit had no chance when a deer suddenly crossed the road from right to left. The impact was inevitable and the animal remained seriously injured on the hard shoulder.

But the story takes an unexpected turn! When the police patrol arrived, the deer jumped up from nowhere and ran directly back onto the highway, where it stopped on the left lane. Chaos broke out when traffic was stopped by another radio patrol to bring the injured animal to safety. Suddenly the deer ran through the stowing vehicles and caused another confusion by crashing against some cars. The situation was tense!

The four officials used had their hands full to drive the wild animal into the adjacent fields. Finally, they managed to move the deer into the field of field where it stopped injured. In order to redeem the animal from its agony, a hunting supervisor was informed. The driver's Ford Transit was lucky and only suffered slight damage to property. It is still unclear whether other vehicles were damaged by the collision with the deer.
