Nancy Faeser: Attack on the Bundestag - comeback based on the election!

In a dramatic step, Nancy Faeser, the Federal Minister of the Interior and Social Democrat, dreams of a place in the Bundestag! The party leadership has already informed that on November 30th during the constituency delegate conference in Kelkheim in the Taunus, she would like to be officially nominated as a candidate. An ambitious goal for the 54-year-old, who is preparing to run for the Bundestag election in September 2025!

But the challenges are huge! The SPD is currently heavy and fights with lousy survey values. The SPD in the Main-Taunus distribution has hoped that Faeser gets a front place to improve its chances of successfully moving into the Bundestag. Faeser currently has no Bundestag mandate, and many are wondering whether she can keep her ministerial office after the election.

Faeser, who lives with her family in Schwalbach am Taunus, has already experienced political setbacks. Her appearance as a top candidate for the SPD in the state election in Hesse in October 2023 ended in a fiasco. Instead of taking on the hoped -for role of the Prime Minister, she had to give up the CDU, which now rules under the head of government Boris Rhein.
