Creative children conquer the canvas: the children's film festival Klappe 7!

On Saturday, November 23, the Caligari Filmbühne in Wiesbaden becomes the setting for the exciting children's film festival "Klappe 7". From 11.30 a.m. the little filmmakers and their families flock in to experience the creative spectacle at 12 p.m. Short play films, video clips, documentaries and animated films are presented here, which were created by talented children aged six to twelve years. The film lengths vary from exciting 30 seconds to impressive eight minutes!

"Klappe 7" is not just a festival, but a stage for the creative visions of the youth! Youth and social department Dr. Patricia Becher emphasizes: "The festival gives creativity and the visions of young people a voice." A specialist jury will award the best films, while the audience also has the opportunity to choose their favorites and award an audience award. Here the audience can experience the exciting ideas of the young filmmakers up close!

insights into film production

The event is an initiative of the Office for Social Work of the State Capital Wiesbaden and is already celebrating its 18th anniversary. The participating children and adolescents have the chance to immerse yourself in the world of the film. You will learn how to develop a script, handle the camera and master the film cut on the computer. "The children's film festival offers an inspiring platform on which courageous ideas and the fresh perspectives of our young talents can shine," explains Dr. Mug. Here the filmmaking becomes an exciting adventure in which the children can bring their own ideas to life!
