Despite an alleged oversupply of ophthalmologists in Wetterau, it is a challenge for patients, especially for children, to get a timely date. According to the Hesse (KVH) Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, the Wetteraukreis is classified as oversupply with 116.13 percent.
