Missing doctor from Vogelsberg: Family continues to fight for Wolfram Miss

In a dramatic missing person from Bosnia, the 67-year-old doctor Wolfram Missler from the Vogelsbergkreis remains unable to find it. The search, which has been running since September 4, has been intensively operated by mountain rescuers, but all efforts have so far been unsuccessful. Mißler had traveled to the picturesque Prenj Mountains, where his rental car was discovered at the entrance to two hiking trails. Since then there has been no sign of life from him, and his family's concern has grown immeasurably.

The German Embassy in Sarajevo, which reacted to a press request, is said to be in "regular contact" with the relatives. But Sebastian Mißler, the missing person's son, feels abandoned by the message. "I could not find regular contact," he explains frustrated. Instead, he often provided the information from the mountain rescue to the message. The statement by the Federal Foreign Office that the search remained unsuccessful leaves the family at a loss. "An initiative from the German side has been left out so far," said Viltler.

family remains stubborn in the search

Although the official search measures have been discontinued, the family does not give up hope. She plans to reopen the case through an increased media presence in Bosnia, hoping to initiate the search again. "If all measures are unsuccessful, we will consider a privately financed investigation or search," announced Sebastian Missler. In the meantime, his cardiological practice in Grebenhain will continue from a representation from November 13th - a positive news for the patients, but no consolation for the relatives who worry about their beloved father and partner in this difficult time.
