Stephan Paule: CDU supports mayor with 100 percent!
In a gripping political showdown in Alsfeld, the reigning mayor Stephan Paule (CDU) is ready to face the election again! Originally scheduled for March 16, 2025, the mayor election could be pre -laid on March 9th due to the turbulent federal policy and possible new elections. But one thing is certain: Paule, who has been running the helm in the city for twelve years, has received the full back of his party, and with an overwhelming 100 percent!
The Alsfeld CDU was behind Paule at its general meeting. All 40 members entitled to vote raised the hands for the charismatic mayor, who convinces with his likeable nature and his tireless commitment. CDU chairman Alexander Heinz praised Paule as a "big pound" for the city, while he referred to the success of the mayor: a renovated swimming pool, a new kindergarten and modernized roads are just a few of the highlights of his term. Paule himself emphasized that the development of the industrial area "Am Weißen Weg" was a crucial step into the future. "We have to take the step of modernity together," he called to the members.
investments for the future
A record for trade tax revenue of 13 million euros is expected for the city, and the budget for the coming year will be one million euros higher than in the current year. Paule, who managed to present an approved household for eleven years in a row, has big plans for the future: the revival of fallow areas, flood protection measures in the double -digit million range and investments in the reforestation of the forests are on his agenda. He also wants to further improve the care of children and adolescents and medical care in Alsfeld.
With a clear focus on the attractiveness of the city and the preservation of the village structures, Paule would like to actively involve the citizens. "It is not enough to give the city enough money and staff. We have to motivate people to make the best of themselves and their city," said Paule. He can currently look forward to the election date because there is no opposite candidate in sight. The tension in Alsfeld is increasing!
